If you Can’t Be Where You Are—You’ll Never Be Where You Want To Be…

In other words, accepting what is, is the first step in changing what is. Accepting what is dissolves the resistance that perpetrates the unwanted condition. It’s easy to be grateful for desirable conditions in your life. It’s challenging to be grateful for the unwanted conditions. However, it is the unwanted conditions that stretch us beyond our comfort zone. Change can stretch us to broaden our perspective and let go of old limitation. Your affirmation might be, “even though I’m upset about this unwanted condition in my life, I honor the opportunity for growth and expansion.” This affirmation is a good buffer for intrusive victim programming.

The most important step is to affirm that you accept the situation (you do not even have to like it). In fact, you can hate the situation and still accept it. If you’re not there yet, you can affirm, “I’m willing to be willing to accept this but I’m not there yet.”

Wherever you are, honor it. Because the only way out is in!
